In most cases, no! As long as the delivery pathway is clear of parked cars and obstacles, and you’ve given us clear placement instructions (such as “driver’s side of driveway, 5 feet back from garage door”), our experienced driver can complete the drop-off without you needing to wait around.
Every dumpster rental includes a generous flat-rate weight allowance. If your material exceeds that limit at the certified Macomb County transfer station scale, the excess is simply billed at our clear, pro-rated per-ton rate. We will provide an official copy of the scale ticket for 100% transparency.
If the container is placed on your private driveway or on your property, no municipal permit is required. Please keep all items completely level with the top rim of the dumpster. By Michigan Department of Transportation law, our roll-off trucks must mechanically tarp every container before driving on public highways. Overfilled dumpsters cannot be safely transported.
